We are school-based physical therapists who want to offer gross motor and mobility activities for the students and families we service who are impacted by the state-mandated school closures.
Stacy Brew, PT: I am a graduate from University of Michigan-Flint Masters in Physical Therapy Program. I have been with the GISD for almost 10 years. I have worked for the school system for 3 different ISD's for at total of 18 years. I currently service the school districts of Atherton, Bendle, Bentley, Beecher, Clio, Flushing, Genesee, Genesee ISD ( Early On), Kearsley, Montrose, Mt. Michele Burpee, PT: I am a graduate of the Oakland University Masters in Physical Therapy Program. I have worked in the GISD since 2013. I worked for another school district for a short time before moving to the GISD. Prior to that I worked for Hurley Medical Center, both at the hospital and at an outpatient pediatric physical therapy clinic. Lisa Iordanou, PT: I am a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint Masters in Physical Therapy Program. I have also obtained a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan-Flint in 2020. I have been with the GISD since 2007. Katie Little, PT: I am a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. I have been with the GISD since January of 2021. Prior to working for the GISD, I worked for several years at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, Michigan at an outpatient clinic with emphasis on pediatric populations.
